KUALA LUMPUR (3 December 2016) – IJM Corporation Berhad has adopted around 12 nature trails in several regions across Malaysia, China and India during its company’s annual CSR event Give Day Out (GDO) 2016.

The event themed “Fun with Nature” has brought together the participation of 1,900 IJM workforce nationwide and around 170 IJM employees in India and China. This year marks the 6th annual Give Day Out since the conglomerate‘s annual corporate social responsibility activity began in 2010.

IJM Group’s Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director Dato’ Soam Heng Choon expressed that caring for the environment and local communities are key  components of the Group’s sustainability framework, while serving  these communities through CSR engagements is part of the Group’s sustainability agenda.

“This year’s Give Day Out focuses on environmental preservation, as we hope to devote our dedication towards the environment by safeguarding wildlife and conserving nature areas.
