IJM to divest entire stake in IJM Plantations for RM1.53 billion
PETALING JAYA, 11 June 2021: IJM Corporation Bhd (“IJM” or “the Group”) announced today that it has agreed to divest its entire stake in IJM Plantations Bhd (“IJM Plantations”), representing 56.2% of shares in IJM Plantations, to Kuala Lumpur Kepong Bhd (“KLK”), for a cash consideration of RM1.53 billion. IJM will continue to be entitled to the dividend of 10 sen per share in July that was declared by IJM Plantations.
IJM posts 72% rise in annual net profit, declares higher dividend

IJM Construction secures two contracts in Tun Razak Exchange and The Light City
PETALING JAYA, 28 April 2021 – Leading builder, IJM Construction Sdn Bhd (“IJM Construction”), a wholly owned subsidiary of IJM Corporation Berhad (“IJM”) has secured two contracts – an RM89.8 million contract for the construction of infrastructure building and public realms works at Tun Razak Exchange (TRX), Kuala Lumpur, and another contract worth RM237.8 million for the construction of Mezzo residential tower at The Light City, Gelugor, Penang.
IJM India sets new record for road construction
Petaling Jaya, 8 March 2021 – IJM (India) Infrastructure Limited (“IJM India”), the Indian arm of IJM Corporation Berhad (“IJM”), has set a new record by laying of 25.54 lane-kilometers* road stretch in a short span of 17 hours and 45 minutes on its Solapur-Bijapur highway project in India.
IJM posts second consecutive quarter of strong performance with profit before tax of RM278.5 million
Petaling Jaya, 25 February 2021 – IJM Corporation Berhad (IJM) today released its financial results for the third quarter ended 31 December 2020 (3Q FY2021). Group revenue for 3Q FY2021 increased 18.9% to RM1,713.2 million from RM1,440.4 million reported in the corresponding quarter last year. The Group’s profit before tax (PBT) increased by 70.3% to RM278.5 million in the quarter compared to RM163.6 million in 3Q FY2020.
IJM bounces back in Q2 with profit before tax of RM161.7 million
Petaling Jaya, 25 November 2020 – IJM Corporation Berhad (IJM) today released its financial results for the second quarter ended 30 September 2020 (2Q FY2021). Group revenue for 2Q FY2021 declined 9.2% to RM1,428.7 million from RM1,574.2 million reported in the Page 2 corresponding quarter last year. The Group’s profit before tax (PBT) increased by 41.6% to RM161.7 million in the quarter (2Q FY2020: RM114.2 million).
IJM clinches RM314.8 million contract to build hotel and office tower in Penang’s The Light City
PETALING JAYA, November 24, 2020 – IJM Construction Sdn Bhd (“IJM Construction”), a wholly owned subsidiary of IJM Corporation Berhad (“IJM” or “the Group”) has secured a RM314.8 million contract for the construction of a 34-storey hotel and office tower at The Light City, Gelugor in Penang.

IJM reports Q1 profit before tax of RM93.2 million
Petaling Jaya, 26 August 2020 – IJM Corporation Berhad (IJM) today released its financial results for the first quarter ended 30 June 2020 (1Q FY2021). Group revenue for 1Q FY2021 declined 43.0% to RM879.8 million from RM1,543.6 million reported in the corresponding quarter last year. The decline was across all business divisions, with the exception of the Plantation Division. The Group’s profit before tax (PBT) decreased by 35.0% to RM93.2 million in the quarter (1Q FY2020: RM143.4 million).
